Research & Policy
My research has focused on education and conflict and girls' education. Most recently, I authored a report for Brookings on funding for girls education, based on a survey administered to near 100 funding institutions.
Innovation and Funding in Girls' Education
Just prior to that, I edited a three chapter volume on solutions to girls' education problems in Africa, with contributions by three Echidna Scholars, a fellowship program that I took care of while working at Brookings for leaders in girls' education.
Improving Learning Outcomes in Africa
Other recent efforts include a report on closing the gap in school enrollment in India, commissioned by UN Special Envoy for Education Gordon Brown and work as a part of the Learning Metrics Task Force team at Brookings to advance learning outcomes in the global goals.
My research on education in Malawi is publised in Harvard's Africa Policy Journal.
A sample of my policy notes and events I hosted and curated are housed on Brookings' webpage.
